Our kind, caring staff of board-certified pediatricians and experienced nurse practitioners warmly welcomes you to Pediatrics at Newton Wellesley, a member of the Boston Children’s Hospital Primary Care Alliance. Since 1996, we have focused on the evolving treatment needs of families in our practice. Our patient-centered, research-driven care draws families from throughout Massachusetts and beyond.

We have expanded our practice to include a second location. We continue to practice at our primary location at Newton -Wellesley hospital and excited to announce our newest office in Newton Corner. Our two locations will now serve MetroWest and beyond. We look forward to serving families in Newton, Watertown, Belmont and surrounding areas.

Through Telehealth, we treat a wide variety of office visit needs – and they’re currently covered by most insurance plans in the State of Massachusetts. Give us a call and we can walk you through this easy process or click here to learn more.

If you or your child still need a flu shot, the town of Newton is having a couple flu clinics. Information is below:
Town of Newton flu Vaccine Clinics:
Newton’s Health and Human Services Department has initially scheduled two drive-through/walk-up, appointment-based, weekend flu clinics open to Newton residents and Newton Public Schools students and their families.
Registration is not yet open for these clinics. Online appointment registration will open early next week at www.newtonma.gov/flu.
Adults and children older than 6 months may be vaccinated at these clinics. Some high-dose flu vaccine will be available for adults who are at least 65 years old. These clinics are free and health insurance information is requested, but not required. If you do not have a vehicle, you may walk-up to receive a vaccine.

Additional dates may be added depending upon demand.
Appointments are required and may fill quickly. Alternatively, consider getting a flu shot at an another time and place; they are available in many locations, including primary healthcare provider offices, local pharmacies and urgent care clinics. A list of some additional options for flu shots can be found at newtonma.gov/flu.  


*If you or your child are asymptomatic for COVID-19 but would like to be tested for reasons such as exposure, travel or contact with a high risk person, you may contact an urgent care to schedule a test. Please follow up directly with urgent care for your results. Please visit the link below provided by the Department of Public Health to find an urgent care near you*

Here at PNW, we are currently unable to offer in-office COVID-19 testing. Although we are waiting on supplies needed to test in our office, we are available to see your sick child. This can be done either in-office or virtually. We can then refer you to MGH’s COVID testing line, urgent cares in the area, or directly to Newton-Wellesley. Please note, if your child needs to be tested for COVID-19 and needs to be cleared to return to school, a PCR COVID-19 ( not antibody or antigen) test will need to be performed and resulted.
